Introduction
Arrow by Arrow is a compact logic puzzle built around one rule: every arrow can only move in the direction its head points. If its path is open, it slides away from the board. If another arrow blocks that path, the move fails and costs one life.
The board starts crowded, so the challenge is to spot the arrows that can escape first and gradually open paths for the rest. Each solved arrow changes the shape of the puzzle, turning a blocked grid into a clean sequence of exits.
How to Play
- Tap or click an arrow to send it moving in its facing direction.
- Clear arrows whose path to the edge is open.
- Avoid tapping blocked arrows, because each blocked move costs a life.
- Use zoom controls when the board is dense on small screens.
- Clear every arrow before the timer reaches zero.
Controls
- Mouse / Touch: Tap an arrow segment to move that arrow.
- Pinch: Pinch on touch screens to zoom the board.
- Zoom Slider: Drag the slider below the board for precise zoom control.
- Hint: Use the optional reward hint to highlight a currently safe arrow.
- Restart: Start a fresh puzzle from the top button.
FAQ
What makes an arrow safe?
An arrow is safe when every grid cell in front of its head is empty until the board edge.
Why did I lose a life?
You tapped an arrow whose escape path was blocked by another arrow. The arrow retreats and the life counter drops by one.
Can every puzzle be solved?
Yes. Levels are generated with a dependency check so the arrow order has at least one valid solution.
Is the hint required?
No. The hint is optional and only highlights a safe move when rewarded ads are available. You can solve every board without it.
